Raised in a family of entrepreneurs and engineers in Colombia, Mario Rueda - aka Mizter Rad - experienced the harsh realities of terrorism and drug trafficking during the turbulent 80s and 90s. Determined to forge his own path, Mario made the bold decision to leave home at the age of 17. He pursued a career in Civil Engineering while taking breaks to work diverse jobs in the United States. His thirst for adventure led him to study Chinese in Tianjin and pick berries in Germany. In 2007, he arrived in Boston and secured an internship with an engineering firm. This opportunity opened doors for him to work on prestigious projects at Yale University and the World Trade Center 7. Mario's passion for making a difference led him to volunteer with an Indigenous-run NGO in the Amazon. He furthered his business acumen at Stanford Business School and pursued a Master's degree in Lisbon, where he developed a globally recognized business idea for Evian Waters.

Balancing entrepreneurship with a job at a local startup, Mario founded a social enterprise empowering street artists. His endeavors garnered recognition and propelled the launch of PANTA Magazine, which gained millions of views. Transitioning to a for-profit model, his business expanded to over 20 cities worldwide and generated millions of dollars in jobs for indie artists in 2019. Undeterred by the setbacks his business encountered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he founded BASA Studio, and now ventures into the world of podcasting, hosting under the alias Mizter Rad.

Mario Rueda's life is a testament to resilience, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of new ideas. Through his podcast, he aims to inspire others with his captivating journey and insightful conversations.
